Sun Break!

The weather in this picture is what is known as a sun break in the Evergreen state.

It is immediately preceded by rain and shortly followed by rain. We love it! It makes the plants all around nice and green.

Our tulips and daffodils have bloomed for a month.

Tulips from last year's bulbs in a pot.

Hyacinths' third year.

The rhodies are starting to bloom. They don't mind the rain!

On a recent rainy day while Mason and Spencer were staying with us, we visited the Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport, Washington, a short distance north of us. www.navalunderseamuseum.org.

Mason thought it was pretty interesting; Spencer wished it were an art museum. He did find it fun to dress up. (Doesn't he look like he is having fun??)
