Spring Has Come!

After wind, rain, snow, ice and power outages, it is beautiful here in Gig Harbor! Here are some shots of our yard. This is Paul's new raised bed for berries. He decided they needed better drainage and more nutrients, so he built this box and added rich soil. The raspberries and strawberries are coming along. So is a little row of radishes.

Tulips, daffodils and hyacynths pop up from the bulbs we planted last October; other perennials return after appearing dead during the winter months.
